Vision
Short-lived Jacksonville Christian-rock band; released one album independently. Members included guitarist/vocalist Rocco Marshall, keyboardist Billy Powell (from Lynyrd Skynyrd), bassist Leon Wilkeson (also from Skynyrd) and drummer Mike Maple (later with Mark Farner). Also see Synergy.

Appreciate the mention about Vision and thought I’d give just a little more info if you’d like. We had one independant regional release.. self titled..”Vision” ..with Leon ,Billy, and Keith Holmes (playing some great flute).The second album was a result of our recording contract with “Heartland Records” a subsidiary of “Full Sail Recording” in Orlando..Jon Phelps/Gary Jones.. That record(again self titled”Vision”) was pretty successful for us and because of that success landed us a spot on The Dove Awards as one of the headline groups along w/Mylon LeFevre/Driscoll/Russ Taff/Sandi Patti and Denise Williams (that evening).
