And wonderful music. I dedected the song many decades ago and still love to hear it.
So I made my way to Macon, Georgia to see the Big House and other places connected to the Allman Bros Band. We had a good time there.

Anybody know where Greg is now?

I owned Jaxtrax Studio/Jaxvil Records with Steve Monahan and we were across the street from the guitar store (what was the owners name?) Anyway
They put in a small studio...8 track I think..and Greg recorded an album there in the back room at the music store. When they were finished they brought it across the street for me to master. Greg really played well on that album and made some sounds I have never heard before. It kinda cut to the soul of his playing. I'm gonna get up from this computer and find my copy. It really was a soulful Blues. If I remember correctly the guy who did most of the tracking worked at the store and his first name was Kevin.
Greg also did some session work for me on a Ricky Jay single project and layed down some fine licks. Those were good days.

I remember Dru well.

We worked on a lot of projects together out at Cypress in the 80's.
He was a good engineer and excellent guitarist. We even attended the same church...the Episcopal church near the intersection of Monument & Ft Caroline roads. (now called Ressurection Episcopal)

Sure miss Dru...he was a nice guy.

Hello,
I have some great memories of the whole Second Coming. In the 60's I lived in Bradenton Fl and played in a blues band with with a harp player named Dave "Rock Bottom" York. All of these guys hung and played around the area alot. Seen and played with them many times. I used to buy my strings at Larry Reinhart's father's store off Manatee Ave in Bradenton. The Second Coming and The Load were well loved during those days, I sure miss them. Thanks.

Mike,
I am glad to find your site again. You are doing a great job.
It is good to see the stories and features, history of our very impressive group of performing artists from the Jacksonvill area.
It seems your NFMHF is doing well, and I am honored that Judy Jenners-Vanzant thought enough of my concept to carry it furher and you have
given it the authoring help it needed. We talked briefly when you were working on your book, but regretfully never met personally. I am working on my concept and tributes as well and perhaps we can get together one day soon maybe with Bill Binkley Jr., musician and recordings/artists expert. I worked with his step-dad, Abe Livert and later on to Hoyts Stereo at their stores in the sixties. By the way, I don't know if you know, but Ross Tomkins, pianist for Doc Severinsen on The Tonight Show, both in N.Y and L.A. died several years ago. He was from St. Augustine. I had included him on the list which I gave Mrs. Vanzant. We also lost Dennis Yost about three years ago near Cleveland, OH. from illness. Wally Eaton, of the Classics IV, is still residing in Southside. Keep Up the Good Work. Chuck De Lettre
